We're receiving reports that some people are unable to log in to Duck ID Account Management using Firefox. When those impacted try, the reCAPTCHA icon at the bottom right blinks, but nothing else happens. Other browsers like Edge and Chrome continue to work, so these can be used as a workaround. Staff are engaged.

The Duck ID Account Management website (duckid.uoregon.edu) will be unavailable this Thursday (March 21) starting at 6:00 p.m., for up to three hours. The vendor will be installing a critical fix to ensure students admitted for fall 2024 can successfully claim their accounts this spring.

Duck ID account claiming and other account-related actions were impacted by the unplanned UO network outage this morning (Thursday, Dec. 14). Network services have now been restored. As of 10:08am, Duck ID Account Management hasn't yet finished processing tasks that got stuck during the outage.

Yesterday (Wednesday, Nov. 15), we reported that people who had received a new UO student record, employee record, or job record entered after Friday, Nov. 10, were unable claim their Duck ID accounts. That problem with Duck ID claiming has been resolved. People who had problems claiming their Duck IDs should try again now.
